@800764 The Eurovision song contest in not a degrading competition! This contest showed some great singers in the past, Celin Dion, Abba etc etc! Because the last years the competition is not up to the standards it used to be, that does not make it a degrading one. It may need an improvement, I agree, and I hope the presence of Ms Humperdinck will do that. Lets be positive and hope he'll be successful into turning around the competition to what it used to be. I hope he will be given a good song

He must have a new album or major tour coming up and be in desperate need of the publicity. Why else would someone of his ability degrade themselves by doing eurovision. He'll be apprearing on x-factor next.

I love every wrinkle and every grey hair on his precious head, there has to be a God for someone to be created and so extremely talented. Engelbert has just too many attributes to mention in this comment. Class, talent, everlasting fans, appearance beyond compare, what more can anyone expect from the greatest vocalist ever? He makes my life worthwhile and yes, I can still dream-mostly of him.

hE IS THE MOST TALENTED BEAUTIFUL SINGER I HAVE EVER HEARD..WHAT A VOICE STILL AT 74 ...HE HAVENT LOST A NOTE, HE HAS KEPT HIS VOICE, THAT IS A SIGN OF A TRUE ARTIST..TO BE ABLE TO SING AT ANY AGE..HE IS PURE PERFECTION..
