  • @lynndebbiepang Depends on the police dealing with them.

I've been detained by the police for mental health issues and I was treated by most of them with respect. Of course, this was after being jumped restrained and handcuffed by four officers. But I was resistant and freaking out. I also live in the UK, if that makes any difference, but our police don't have an amazing track record of being gentle with the mentally ill, either.

  • We have a wonderful program in this country for dealing with the mentally ill. We put them in prisons where they can be beaten and raped by other inmates and the guards. Only after the police have beaten the crap out of them a few times.

  • this is not reality . sadly .

  • @cara1111

hhehe you think they would have audience if this was real?

  • Was this with a person that actually had a mental disability? or was this some sort of mock crisis intervention? This was really good!
