  • you could replace the extra dutch hook and loops for a soft shackle prusik that goes right into the tarp d-ring. Save a little weight and get rid of a few pieces

  • I find a trucker's hitch does this same thing, mechanically, and doesn't require 15$ worth of titanium equipment. On the other hand, I love Dutch's stuff, so I just bought me some Dutch Hooks. Does that Prussic really hold in that position, though? I find it's good as long as you don't try to go guitar-string tight, as a tarp line might be.

  • This is one of the better demonstrations of how to wrap the TarpFlyz. You kept it pretty stable (didn't spin) . Thanks.

You referred to "7/64 Zing-it" a couple of times. Is that correct? Amsteel comes in a 7/64" diameter (2.78mm), but it would probably be too big for a prussic attached to the smaller yellow Zing-it, which comes in either 1.75mm or 2.2mm.

  • Really nice video.

Now you need to get back to the forum and turn those loops into continuous loops. if you can make that small locked brummel, continuous loops will be easy. Great showcase for a really nice, easily adjustable setup.

  • Can't wait to pick up a similar set up.
