Its intentionally painted blue. Psychological studies show blue is a calming color, and in combat you need to be as calm as possible. That's why all Russian equipment past the 1956 manufacture date have their inside blue or dab grey.

They should clean that thing... I went on a cuban T-62 and it looked terrible inside not becuse it was dirty but everything!!! absolutly everything was painted blue... it burned my eyes... FUCK!
