This is a mile better than any other discussion of abortion I have ever seen. The respected MIT Professor Dr. Noam Chomsky and Dr. Peter Singer, professor at Princeton and the U of Melbourne.

  • Abortion unmasked. At least this moonbats are honest, instead of all the phony, equivocal, disenegenuous handwringing about "choice" and such.

  • Mind saying something substantive and reasonable?

  • Peter Singer presents the DUMBESt argument I've ever heard from a doctor. But since he's from Princeton, I guess that explains it. Using his logic, we can justifiably kill every human being suffering from severe mental retardation, everyone that's in a coma, and every autistic person that cannot comprehend that he/she enjoys life. I am not allowing this as a video response because he has shown no respect for human life whatsoever.

  • Well, then you haven't really listened to Singer, or you've heard what you wanted to hear. The video begins with Chomsky, who shares the same opinions as Singer, saying that to take a life must be justified.

  • Not in this video, but in his papers and books, Singer makes it clear that everything should be done to improve the lives of people (especially the handicapped) after they're born. You are misrepresenting what Singer says, he *never* made any blanket statement or even suggested that "we can justifiably kill every human being suffering from severe mental retardation, everyone that's in a coma..."

He clearly says that there is no black and white, and that people must decide case by case.

  • Excellent!

  • No, I heard him just fine. And every reason he gave can be a justification for taking the life of a hydrocephalic sufferer, a severely retarded person, or a person in a coma. Did you actually listen to them or did you just cut and paste your heroes into a video to try to make yourself sound intelligent?
