I have been making and wearing my own flannel cloth pads and I love how cozy and soft they are! They do not have as much leak protection and absorbency as conventional disposable pads, but they are washable, comfortable and customizable! They can be hand sewn, but with just a tiny bit of sewing machine instruction, I think anyone can learn to sew their own. I was profoundly inspire and empowered by my experience of switching from conventional pads.

I've been meaning to switch, but I'm worried about leakage. A friend who uses it also brought up an interesting con to using her divacup...when in public restrooms, you're sorta hooped, because who wants to wash out your cup in front of people? I'm definitely leaning toward trying it out, and finding out for myself...but these are my worries...
