Kesselman, a professor at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, is a specialist in sharing data and computational resources ~W he was one of the creators of Grid Computing. In this video, he explains how techniques now widely used by scientists trying to understand, complex phenomena like high energy physics, earthquakes, or climate can aid clinicians trying to bring together enormous volumes of medical research with huge volumes of information about individual patients.
