Ok, I have this pedal now and I have to say that his pickups must be HOT. This is because this pedal doesn't like weak pickups. If you don't give this pedal some strong input, it won't do you any favors. The EQ cuts too many frequencies before the amp, making your attack weak and gain...meh. However, if you have high output pickups, or use some sort of boost, this thing is brutal and sounds awesome. HUGE difference. But I can't recommend it if you have neither of those.

I have to say...this pedal sounds damn good in this video. Most pedals with "Metal" in the name are disappointing IMO. This was refreshing.

ARGH, large gain pedals and nobody here on youtube can use them properly, this is about as close as it got with a thrash/speed sort of sound but I was hoping for something with more grunt like Bolt Thrower or Morbid Angel
