i've got that mod with cloud map. is that what uve got? watch my celestia video. it sticks alittle when you zoom in when it's gathering data for the surface. Does yours?

Yes it does! Acctualy I had to repeat few scenes while recording to achive desiarable effect! I saw your video about solar system and I must tell you that your earth is more realistic in colors than mine, in fact that we are using the same addon. So I guess that depends how your graphic card renders it!

I can't install the high resolution textures for the Earth. Can you explain how you do that? (level 5 surface textures - dds files from Jestr)

To install in Celestia-unzip and put 'JMII DDS' folder in your 'extras' folder.

c:/Program files/Celestia/extras)

Too see it in Celestia you must right click on Earth and select

Alternate Surfaces-JMII DDS

i love your vids. I recently discovered Celestia, and I was amazed. So far Ive downloaded prbably 5 gigs of addons lol. Mostly fictional ones (they're more interesting)

i would reccomend "JestrEarth" because it's a littler download and it is better quality. I know cause i have both. and it has high qualtiy south west england (cornwall, plymmoth). but where did you get the milky way style from because it looks different?
