Eufloria is an ambient game of space exploration and conquest that employs surprising themes of plant growth and bio mechanical evolution.

The game allows the player to explore a beautifully realized universe rendered in a style that is both unique and compelling. Eufloria's aesthetics are reminiscent of children's books like "the little prince" and the gameplay is supported by an original ambient soundtrack by Brian Grainger.

Gameplay revolves around conquering asteroids in space and using their resources to literally grow and nurture new semi-organic plants and creatures to do the player's bidding.

The player is pitched against several teams of AI opponents that all vie for the same resources and can offer fierce opposition.

Alex May, did you make this game? It is fascinating. Never have seen anything like it. I found it through the recent humble bundle. Glad it was there, or I might have missed this :-)

I haven't even remotely played it enough yet, but I am already convinced that I would buy any sequel which might come.

Yes, I made this with Rudolf Kremers and Brian Grainger. Rudolf is, along with Tuna (our porting co-conspirators), making a game set in Eufloria universe called Eufloria Adventures. I will be making a new game set in the universe next year, which I'm pretty excited about.

alex, thought ill share a small problem, i got your game on ps3, when i wanna quit, i press the p button and quit game, it resets my ps3

Thanks! I'm not against downloading games, to be honest, or buying bundles at 1 cent, because I know that way many more people get to play the game and maybe spread the word, which is great. I also know that enough people are honest about what they like and buy the games they love and can afford.

My issue with the original comment I guess is that I just don't like people being so thoughtless about it. Sure, he didn't like the game, that's fine but advising other people not to buy it is unfair.
