I suck at video editing. I wanted to get close ups of each animations going in slow motion, but I couldn't figure it out.
Edit: I probably should have explained how to actually do this properly and what causes this to happen.
Let me start by saying that this is not activated randomly. When sonic jumps, he has to land. The time between falling and touching the ground is extremely small. Usually one frame's time. It is at that moment that this animation can be activated. You have to hit the enemy at the very last second of air time. It is very difficult to pull off, but it is meant to be a reward for being lucky.
I had a hard time trying to explain this in a simple way. I hope there is no confusion.
@rockinblakeable I Changed the video description explaining how to do it.

So I'm still wondering what triggers Sonic doing the air tricks. I'm thinking it might be the longer in the air in between jumps or it may just be random. Either way I like them!
