  • So competitive is relative to the substrate concentration and noncompetitive is not, but is uncompetitve? (MCAT reviewer)

  • Uncompetitive inhibition can effect substrate concentration in either increase or decreasing the amount of substrate to reach half-max velocity. Uncompetitive usually reflects the effects of an inhibitor or more than one inhibitor on E-S interaction and ES complex formation of product.

  • So we can measure the amount of entropy with joules (J). But that wouldnt apply in enthalapic systems.

  • I'm unfamiliar with the enthalpic systems you refer to. Explain.
