http://www.pitching.com Pitching velocity of most college pitchers could be improved dramatically if coaches would simply improve their learning skills of how to recognize common pitching faults that reduce pitching velocity. Then all they have to do is videotape each pitcher and point out the mechanical faults that is reducing their pitching velocity and help them make the needed adjustment. This is a 6'3" 220 lb. college pitcher who is throwing low 80's. His major fault that is reducing his velocity by at least 5 mph is that upon landing he is letting his landing knee continue to drift forward. This is just like pitching is sand and is one of the biggest pitching velocity killers for pitcher of all ages. We show how to fix all mechanical faults by videotaping. http://www.pitching.com
Hey just Google Images,
"Tim lincecum pitching",
"Edinson Volquez Pitching"
"Justin Verlander Pitching"
You will find images that display earliy bracing up (front leg extension) and Trunk flexion Foward.

Hey mechanical changes occur in the brain first. Have your son really focus and connect with the following images. His goal should be to brace up as soon as he lands, this will allow him to get better trunk flexion. Which increases velocity and control while reducing stress to arm. Remember He must know how it looks in his head, then go out and get a feel for it. Baby steps Walk before you run.
