  • I hear you. I wish African folks (N.B. no artificial subgenuses, I mean all Africans) could talk about this in the manner that white folks talk about tanning. Sun tanning is far more dangerous than bleaching chemicals but they can have a conversation about it. Africans tend to get defensive, then its Congolese this, African Americans that. It still is what it is, color casting leading to self worth issues leading to self mutilation. If we cant keep it real in our own videos were screwed.

  • I dont think they were referring to these girls on the bleach subject, but you are definitely right, a lot of people spitting out their opinions dont have proper information on the subject.

  • Is not the same guy who was the caller with pepe kalle for a long time. I dig this guy. If he's the one , you should check out the video of him and Pepe doing a concert in Zambia. He just jumped over fences and barriers to get nearer to the audience that was , stupidly, put 3 football fields away from the stage....the freakin' Zambian police didn't know what to make of this guy...they were totally baffled. And He loved being with the folks and had no fear dancing n and out of the crowds.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO .. SHOUT OUT TO DJUNA

  • congo toujour power

  • Watch the video and Stfu ppl. I really think many of the people who leave comments on YouTube have no lives. Go out and make a difference some where. Love everyone !!!!

  • @Axine4 still struggling to name one? I'll assume you get the point until you do. God bless.

  • @Axine4 Oh 1 more thing. Name me one artist who said he/she wanted only aficionados to listen to, enjoy or comment on their music. Name just one and I'll give you five bigger more credible artists who had a social point to make, hoping it would affect the listeners and spark debate in their communities and eventually lead to positive change. Who declared you an aficionado anyway. I'm guessing your ego did. Me thinks one regards way too highly of oneself. Name me just one artist Axine.

  • @Axine4 Now your just talking nonsense. No one said bleaching is the only social problem. As 4 black men liking whiter ladies i made a statement about self worth issues etc. By the way I am a black man as are many of my friends and family and we prefer black women in all their varieties. I never hijacked any vid, i just responded to a comment. The specificity was not of my choosing. Have you read the full context of the debate you so imperiously proselytise on. I think not. Afficionado my ass

  • @Axine4 so why r u getting involved in a social debate. I replied 2 a point (a stupid one at that) made by someone a long time ago and people have exercised their right to agree or disagree on a public forum using their computer in their time. how do you feel you have the right to control the viewing habits of others. Skip the comments and concentrate on the vids if "social debate" bothers you that much. You tube terms and conditions have not been violated, just your personal sensitivities.

  • @vdotme

No music is for music afficionados. If it was for social debates bleaching wouldn't be the only social problem talked in vid and besides the debate would have gone further as why do black men loves whiter girls to begin with leading ladies to bleach to appeal. so again no need to hijack music vids to talk bout his specific social problem ignoring orthers in the process. It just highlights that it's not about social problems more about rehasing the same point hijacking music to do so.

  • @Axine4 sorry pal. I was under the impression that african music was one big social debate as opposed to the PR driven crap that the developed world seems to give primacy. Besides, listen to the music and dont scroll the text if it bothers you that much. Free forum and all that. :)
