A vaguely oriental feeling permeates the scene, haunted by a Madame Butterfly, with a body language distilled and decontextualized from a professed adherence to Puccini's Opera. The key elements of Rewind are inspired, for an updated theatrical study, by works from the personal repertory. The dance score is accompanied by whispered promptings and a continuous sheet of sound that serve as narrative track for the entire piece.
The relationship with oralism, secret and implicit subtext to the piece, reveals the impossibility of the stage-ability of the word.

Aesthetically the staging is an installation: the body of a woman, mag-lite, revox, military blanket, coal, candle and rag. Mobile score, the staging oscillates between improvisation and structured dance, between predetermined keys of action and infidelities of thought, dialoguing with their surroundings.
The stage space, plunged into black, symbolically represents the instability of an inhospitable sea and, at the same time, a familiar well-trodden road, in the game of being and its opposite.
The spectator is invited to observe the performance as an active interlocutor testifying to a rite of listening.
Not only watching, but fathoming the depths of patience and participating in the process.
