well for that. like just a body part going invisible. you can add swirls and flakes of particles to it. but just wrap a green piece of paper (maybe poster board) around your leg/arm etc. and then when you key it out, her leg/arm etc. wont be there. and you can add swirly flakes/particles..

I actually had an idea like that. But I'm more concerned with when just my leg goes invisible. It's supposed to be like her particles swirling around.

going invisible is one of the easiest effects you'll have to do. there are many ways. you can shoot in front of a green screen but it'll look more fake.ish. i would take a picture of the background without the people in it. and then do the scene and when its time to go invisible, fade out the ppl scene so its just the background thats left. but dont just fade it out cuz it'll look so boring lol. add a ripple effect or dissolve or whatever. but yeah.
others will be hard, like time travel lol
