i went to see inland empire at the show a lot of people walked out . i stayed fo the whole movie and enjoyed every minute. David Lynch has a certain formula that a lot of people won,t get all i can say is he is one of the great film masters of our time

This film puts me into a mild hypnotic state - like any of Lynch's films, I seem to forget about the outside world when I watch this.

@1SWINZ1 I agree, though movies do affect us on a subconscious level, & definitely affects our mood.

I see where you're going, and it makes sense. Even though I agree, I'd still prefer to watch a movie that sparks a good mood in me rather than a negative one. Maybe back then, before the movies, they had other things that inspired them to commit crime, like stories. Though I might be wrong, there could be a possibility that some people r just natural psychos. Nice talking to u, my last comment!

@23parkour23 i slightly agree, but just because you see someone jump off a cliff in a movie, DOES NOT mean you are gonna do it in real life. you cud blame homicide on movies, but where did serial killers get their inspiration from before movies? doesn't make sense. if you ask me, if somebody copy's an act from a movie, they had something wrong with them BEFORE they watched the film, therefore it is NOT the films fault.

@howpow45 I would have have walk-out from this piece of trash also! I don't want to watch anything that is written or scripted by a psycho and that will affect me or others negatively with this psychos' imagination. I'd rather stick with all-well-ends-well or lived-happily-ever-after movies, and that's how I see my life! Movies do affect us subconsciously. Depends on what you watch you will later seek psychiatrists and psychologists while others, like myself, search for motivational speakers.
