Or rather, it actually was boring because all the supposedly profound moments and moral dilemmas were actually quite contrived and cliched. In fact, if you thought this movie was particularly special, you probably cannot distinguish mediocrity from the sublime. Don't tell me that I don't have the mental capacity to appreciate forgettable detritus. Go read a book.

superb action/fight sequences, alot of talking though and dr manhattan really bored me with all his philosophical 'i don't have to save the earth' crap although i did gape slack-jawed at his FIT NAKED body :-p. i loved rorschach. good sex scenes too :-p. A good film, but after 2 and a half hours you do want it to hurry up and end! Finally, i did prefer dark knight but watchmen is hardly comparable to that,
