  • What do you think you weighed in this video?

  • About 250-255, well over 20% body fat.

  • Good job, but you're a back injury waiting to happen

  • This was well over a year ago. DL is much improved and back is stronger than ever.

  • yea very good but dont lean back at the top

just bring it up such that you are completely straight

  • Yes it is, not only that, it's still not considering a proper lift.

  • @Darkrider6970 so when i start to lift the weight from the floor, should i feel a stretch in my hams? also, how can i ensure that my lower back is straight all the time? thank you.

  • 1)Lower back rounding at the bottom.

2)Not setting up the hips/hamstrings well at the bottom of the movement.

3)Using mostly knee extension to perform the lift with only any hip drive included in the last quarter of the movement.

Honestly, not terrible form, but far from ideal.

  • @Darkrider6970 Why?

  • 50,660 views suckerrrrrr

  • Only thing I see wrong is that your shoulders aren't behind the bar at the start of the lift. Thus, you aren't on your posterior chain enough. Sit back a bit more prior to initiating the lift, and its pretty much perfect.

  • @asscobrapersonal he is following rippetoe's form very closely. i wouldnt say anything bad about his form

  • i think his hips are too high (lack of flexibility), therefor he is putting extra unneeded stress on his knees. his chest could also be up more and shoulders pulled back further. i admire your effort though. GL

  • gd form apart from your feet, with the distance between your legs, u need to have your feet pointed slightly out not straight. also u let gravity take the bar u dont do the negative

  • Actually the core muscle it works out is the back, Additional muscles are the neck forearms and legs.

  • sounds like SOAD in the background!!! thats my kind of weight room
