@Brendanvio Your opinion does not reflect the views of others, like me. I believe that there were a lot of great cricketers at his time and perhaps that overshadowed his talent or achievements. He is not one of my favorite cricketer, not even close. But you have to give praise where its due. I think he was a great fielder and a exceptional batsman who you can count on difficult situations. His brother (Steve) was better. PS its my opinion he was underrated, and i still stick to it.

@walE3dk I don't think he was ever underrated, it can be argued that he may have never totally fulfilled his outrageous talent.
He is still my favourite ever cricketer.
