Get the Glock 19 one of my favorite pistols and I have shot the HK compact. Once you go Glock you don't go back.

they have soo many defrent glocks glocks 17 glock 28,23 what one are the best in 9mm.

9's are verygood for self defense purposes if you are those type of people..I don't really know a whole lot about the .40, but I hear they are fun to shoot. The .45 almost seems impractical for self-defense, because it probably has enough power to kill very quickly, and If I was in a situation in which I had to shoot someone, I'd prefer a 9 mil.

how do you like glocks? ive never fired one, though im considering getting one as im in the market for a handgun. ive narrowed it down to h&k usp compact (not sure if i want 9, 40, or 45) or the glock 19 or glock 23. the only thing im concerned about with the glock is the handgrip angle which is why ive neglected to fire one to this day. my friend who has a 19 says it has more recoil than other 9s for him due to the grip angle. your opinion?

couldn't tell you too much about it since it was my first time shooting the glock as well, but i shot a m92 berreta before in the army and found both side arm pretty much have the same recoil and dead on accurate.
