Tedde van Gelderen, President of the Toronto based Experience Design firm, Akendi, discusses the meaning of experience. This presentation is an example of how visuals can enrich an experts lecture. Imaginative illustrations are used to create context, while diagrams help illustrate abstract concepts. The style of drawing is meant to captivate and engage the learner, as well as make the material more memorable. * Canadian Network for Innovation in Education (CNIE) identified "Tedde van Gelderen on Experience Design" as a winner of the Excellence and Innovation in Animation -- Post Secondary 2010 in the Media Festival.
