The Lake County Library System will host the second annual Trash to Fashion Contest, a spectacular teen fashion extravaganza featuring eco-outfits from recycled or waste materials on Saturday, October 22nd at the Cooper Memorial Library.
The Trash to Fashion Contest will be open this year to ages 11-25; categories will include 1st through 3rd place winners for ages 11-15 and 1st through 3rd place winners for ages 16-25.
This program invites you to think outside the recycle bin and design a piece of wearable art, fashion, or an accessory based on the creative use of "trash" -- found, salvaged, scavenged, and repurposed materials.
