I met Bob twice , once in 2004 and then other time in 2007,, hmmm what a coincidence,, both years i met up with him the red sox won the world series.
Bob was a legend in Boston from 1979-2007 at WBZ-4. Sadly he was let go by BZ due to budget cuts. He now airs a sports morning show on WEEI-AM radio 850.
When i met Mr. Lobel, he was the coolest guy i ever met. Very charming and great to talk to as i did in his office in 2004 and in 07.
