The mayor of Lancaster Ca. has declared his city to be a "Christian city". This has understandably upset those who live there who are not Christians. How should a city official who professes belief in Jesus Christ carry out his duties?

  • Lancaster has the most corrupt police in L.A county "PLEASE" be very carefull or dont ever stop in lancaster. they do profile," Whites" they only want to put you in prison. not to cite you. How do you kno a corrupt pig? First things they ask, Are you on probation or perole? next is "do you have any drugs or weapons" next will be a pat down, regardless if you refuse a illegal search. They dont care. I was pulled over for walking. no front plate 3 times.= 0 tickets.3 car searches

  • Google it.

  • Do you have a source for your meth capital BS? Ofcourse not.

  • The crime rate has increased because Lanacaster gets all the Burbank and L.A. rejects. Lancaster is a Christian city. This clown speaking is a dimwit.

  • I've just wikie'd the list of European kingdoms who consider themselves 'Chrsitian':

    - Catholic: Belgium, Spain.

    - Protestant: Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom (and the Commonwealth).

    Just some extra-homework. Blessings

  • Bzel333, I have a question. If what you say is correct (i.e. there is no Chrstian nation), what would you say about those European kingdoms (Such as Sweden, Denmark, Norway, UK, Netherlands and many others) that they officially state they are 'Christian kingdoms', with their official church and all that?

I know that contrasts greatly from the U.S. 1st Amendment (church/state sepparation), but in that way, can we consider them 'Christian nations' ??

  • I found the way I conducted business was no longer acceptable after becoming a Christian. At times I feel it puts me at a disadvantage until I remember the "if He's for us..." verse. It makes me wonder though are some very necessary jobs possible for Christians? Where would this world be without spies or undercover cops? As a Christian, how could you take on such a role when the ends do not justify the means. It's something I struggle with and would make a good video.

  • I see nothing wrong with what the mayor is saying. We have been destroying our cultural nature, and we need to built it up again and we cannot do that unless we do just this.

  • Answer: The Vatican

  • I am called as a Christian first to Glorify God and then, If a Mayor, to Glory God by way of being a just & Righteous mayor. Hurt not others with things that pains yourself, is not the same as Love thy neighbor as yourself. One places the standard in your pain that you cause by your actions; the other places the standard in that which we define as love; the law. The first would not prohibit watching your neighbor being injured the second would cause us to intervene out of love. Great Vid.
