One Sunny Day- Act I

---ENGLISH--- ---FULLSCREEN FOR BETTER VIEWING PLEASE---

This is the first act of the cartoon project I made as part of my graduation process at the School of Fine Arts of Puerto Rico in the Digital Image and Design department. It's based on various personal and fictional experiences in which I make fun of them using various types of comedy such as parody and slapstick as well as cartoon humor and a little bit of black humor. Some of the artists that I used as reference were Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, Willam Hanna, Joseph Barbera, Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright and Kevin Smith. I also make homage to some of the videogames that I know and love. ---STORY---

Robby is in love of a girl named Christie, and it's willing to make one last proposal in spite of the warnings given by his childhood friend, Liz, who has feelings for him and knows something about Christie that, if too late, will break his longtime friend/crush's heart. All this happens while an exaggerated panic over the AH1N1 flu is spreading around the media. ---ESPANOL--- ---VER EN PANTALLA COMPLETA POR FAVOR---


Este es el primer acto del corto animado que realize como parte de mi proceso de graduacion en la Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico en el departamento de Imagen y Diseno Digital. Esta basado en varias experiencias personales y ficticias de los cuales me burlo utilizando varios elementos de la comedia como la parodia, el "slapstick" y el humor de caricatura y un poquito de humor negro. De los artistas que use de referencia estan Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, William Hanna, Joseph Barbera, Quentin Tarantino, Edgar Wright y Kevin Smith. Tambien hago homenaje a varios videojuegos que conozco y adoro. ---HISTORIA---

Robby esta enamorado de una chica llamada Christie, y esta dispuesto a declararle su amor una ultima vez a pesar de las advertencias de Liz, su amiga desde chico y quien siente algo por el y que conoce algo sobre Christie que si llega a ser demasiado tarde, le puede romper el corazon a Robby. Todo sucede mientras un panico exagerado ante la gripe AH1N1esta regandose en los medios.
