"DORIAN - The Remarkable Mister GRAY," a new musical handled exclusively by MICHAEL BUTLER who produced the original "HAIR" on Broadway.

Based on "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. Currently in rehearsals at The Stas Namin Centre in Moscow, Russia. In 2008, the show premiered at Pentacle Theatre in Salem, Oregon.

At the end of the clip, there's info about the source video and the performers. In 2008 Pentacle Theatre, in Salem, Oregon, produced the premiere. That was a good community theatre production, and now the professional premiere is being readied in Moscow, Russia.

Producer Michael Butler is interested in having the show done by theatre companies here in the U.S. I'm helping the promotion by posting these You Tube vids.

This and the other movie-style trailer I've posted to help promote "Dorian" may seem a bit odd to some theatre people. It isn't the usual way to demo a stage musical. We thought it was a fun approach, even though there's no way to accurately convey what the show itself is like.

"Dorian" is a rich cup of theatrical tea which suits the tastes of some people. Eventually everyone will have the chance to see the show for themselves!

I spent some time and got to know Sheree Ross ( the singer at 1:27 ) while she was in this production. A beautiful woman.

This looks like an amazing production. I have always loved the movie. It looks very Jekyll and Hydeish which I loved. Didn't Care for David H in the movie lead, but adored Linda Eder on stage. Break a leg! I hope you tour soon, I will be waiting.
