"A plane for all occasions" is the best way to describe the Escapade .61, because there are a lot of reasons for a lot of R/C pilots to enjoy this ARF.

The major sections of the built-up wood airframe simply bolt together for easy assembly, and the control surfaces are pre-hinged. The two-piece wing with joiner tube makes transportation easier, and you have lots of options for powering your Escapade. With a .61 2-stroke you have a great second plane for low-wing sport maneuvers; drop in a .91 and you've got the power for higher speeds and vertical performance. And if you prefer electric power, all the hardware is included for mounting a clean, quiet brushless motor.

But no matter which power plant you choose, you'll enjoy exceptional flight characteristics that are enhanced by this plane's larger dimensions. Once you've flown the Escapade .61 ARF, you'll want to fly it every chance you get!

  • Been flying this plane for a few months now with an ASP 1.20 4-Stroke, plenty of power. Just as Great planes advertises, this is a fast-build, easiest build I have done - have built lots of ARF's and kits. Plane is durable, no issues, I just fly it and fly it, keeps on going. Have flown in 25+ mph winds (maidened in high wind in fact), handles great. I have a vid on youtube of it flying as well.

  • @jonnyspeed YEs it comes with a cowl now.I just got mine and im waiting for someone to post a vid or in flight vid to see what it can do.I have the 40 and it is my favorite plane, maybe this will be my new fav plane?

  • 189 dollars.

    well priced.

  • @aaronthegreat1997

    semi semitrical.

  • i have original escapade and it' rocks. fast flying fun, very easy to build.

  • im looking for a second plane, would this be a good 2nd plane?

and also whats the airfoil type?

  • Does this one have a cowl for electric like the smaller one does?
