Everyone in music knows these guys are the best. Their production and writing credits tell it all. When you think of JJTL you instantly think of good melodies , compositions, song writing. Janet Jackson, Usher, Yolanda Adams, Boyz II Men, etc, don't bring up the neptunes, they are dope though.

@BeatBay Are you serious about comparing Britney spears and Timberlake production to Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis? Commercial success means absolutely nothing compared to musical success, my ears tell me that. I've never heard of the neptunes and if they weren't influenced by Madonna and MJ then I'll eat my hat. Everyone has influences, the question is, is the music good? As far as turning hiphop upside down, they have turned it into a car crash in my opinion.
