I plan on doing a full resto,but right now I have 2 kids in college so it will be a while.It was a long wheel base when I got it and I cut it down to a short,installed a 2003 5.3 with a 4l60e trans.a 3.73 pos,seat and speedo from the '03.It's a lot of fun to drive as is.It gets a lot of double takes when I fire it up.

i have the same Truck.. and im wondering how u filled in the spare tire hole on the fender??

I found a damaged fender that was good where the spare is.I cut the spare tire section out of mine and welded in the "filler piece",

Thanks! I put 2 1/2" drop spindles with disc brakes and 1" lower springs on the front.4" springs on the rear.The rallys are 15x8" on front 15x10" oo back.

That's 15x10" on back.
