people knew what was being done to the jews and other minorities, how could they not know? their neighbours were being arrested and carried away for no other reason than being a jew, a sinti or a homosexual.
hitler's war itself was a crime against humanity. an unprovoked attack on poland and then france that in the end brought the world to the brink of destruction. and almost the entire wehrmacht was to some extent involved in war crimes and crimes against humanity.

less than ten percent? maybe so few (try many, compared to other parties...) were actual party members. but especially in the military, all of germany was extremely enthusiastic about hitler. and that enthusiasm didn't exclude the heinous crimes perpetrated mainly by the regular wehrmacht and not only by some secret special units, as some people might have you believe.

@Hairysteed I can't argue that. The rest of the Panzer IV series just isn't as good without that reflective armor.
