Palm Vx GB Emulator

A random demonstration of my Palm Vx running Phoinix ( http://phoinix.sourceforge.net/ ), the Gameboy emulator, and Super Mario Land. Also shown is the Afterburner hack, overclocking the CPU from 20 to 50 MHz while running the emulator.

I'm sorry youtube got a major glitch and corrupted your message in a way that it says "palm's superiority", you can't name a single thing a palm can do that a Windows CE device can't, and I can name hundreds of things a CE device can do that a palm never could. Palm was a complete fraud, they were selling a dramatically limited, unstable and unreliable device for as much or even more as a far superior Windows CE device. Has they been $100 I wouldn't have had anything against them.

lol palms suck, I recently bought an old Casio E-15 Palm Size PC (16 mb ram, 69mhz, and it came out several years before the Palm Vx and is still insanely more powerful and still cost less than the palm), it can run a gameboy emu with no overclocking and with full speed and sound

@aabsc Good for you. Lots of hardware can. However this isnt a video detailing the palm's superiority, it's a video of how i put a GB emulator on a thrift store palm pilot. But seriously, dont hate.

I really miss these, I wish they kept up the general idea, I'd buy a modern version with better specs. I also loved using a stylus lol.

You don't need a computer to charge it just as long as u have the palm cradle and the power lead plugged into the port that goes into the computer and then dock your palm and it should charge

so, this might sound really amateur, but how the hell do i charge my palm Vx? i have the charger/docking station for it but i mean, WHERE can one charge it? Seeing as no computer I own has the compatible outputs for the cable..

Where do you get the AfterBurner Hack? Lots of the palm-related sites have dead links cause Palm is so old!
