The REALLY COOL thing is that Carlos' son was playing guitar in the band that followed us that day and when he rode in on the gator he heard us playing some mongo santamario and ray barreto tunes, the stuff he grew up on. when we started playing "buscando" he was blown away because he had no idea anyone else even knew about that song anymore - he called up his mom on the spot and held his cell phone up to the stage for the rest of the tune so she could hear it. how sweet is that?!!!
