Train #4 was a little late this morning, so I decided to try a different angle to film. I received a warm welcome from John F. Harter, the President of HEARTLAND COFFEE Co. and shot video from his covered loading dock. He explained his grinding, roasting, packaging, and shipping operations to me, while I enjoyed a couple of cups of the fruits of his labors. I would highly recommend his coffee to anyone, from the end user, to a Big 12 College! He was a great host, and I look forward to seeing him again. The K5LA sounded a little different on Road # 55 this morning. Trailing was Road # 140. I would have to say that the BNSF Business cars were a letdown ... appearance wise. I was expecting the usual BNSF "pomp" and glitter...that I'm used to seeing. Be that as it may, the crew was friendly, and the train filmed fairly well in the rain. Thanks again to my host, John, and THANKS FOR WATCHING!....Doc
I like those butt ugly cars on the rear end. LOL Kind of neat with the window line reflectiion when they go over that switch. Good Job!
