in my family everyone has vision problems, both my brothers and I, and my parents, even my sister in laws family has bad vision, her nephew had and eye exam and she said the eye doctor was shocked at how bad his vision had been. I would lol if my sister took and exam and needed glasses now XD

@cylonbluerabbit Estigmatism is actually similiar to nearsightness the only difference is when light enters the past retina in estigmatism it is refracted more in one direction than the other as opposed to myopia when light stops directly in front of the retina. But both conditions causes blurred vision. I totally feel you though and I still recommend you get your eyes check asap. :-) And get those glasses 5 years is way too long lol

i haven't had mine checked in about 4-5 years and i don't even know if i'm near sighted or far sighted anymore, i can't see for doo-doo..i've seen the clinics here charging 450 CDN/eye for lasik..that is still to steep..i thought that was astigmatism with the football shaped eyes..see, i am stressing, i need to go :)
For excellent low-cost $8.00 glasses -- check with Zennioptical (com). If you can read your Snellen at 20/60 or better, you can slowly clear your vision at low cost.

how do you end up getting the football shaped cornea like staring at the sun or something how do you get it

No it's not from staring at the sun. I was born with it. It's hereditary.
