  • 50 years of Communist rule left Estonia on the verge of a demographic disaster. Estonians were becoming a minority in their homeland with their language replaced by Russian in official affairs, cultural life bound by censorship, people restrained and denied access to the outside world.

  • The problem is: no one really cares about what happened, history is used for low speculations to acquire particular short-term political profit. That's why Latvian naSSi can lie all the way about it and virtually no one will notice it. Good thing is that professional historians like Dyukov can give expert reviews for such speculations. Maybe someone will just stop chewing propaganda stamps and will look at it from the new perspective.

  • Dyukov - braininvalid!

  • @SeptimusAugustusI почему? о чем имменно он врет?

  • @piperprop3

No, in Kasakhstan died more people during the famine, and Russia suffered equally from famine. The Kasakhs are not complaining about genocide, and the EU rejected ukrainian claims and fanaticism for genocide last year. It is ukrainian fascist propaganda, to excuse their athrocities during their Nazi-Times, committed against Poles, Russians and especially Jews (Jews who are made responsible to be the masterminds of NKVD etc.)

  • @BringBackMy9Os you are wrong. yes all of the soviet union suffered under Stalin. at different times the whole country was subjected to terror, mass murder, and deportations to Gulag camps, BUT the famine of the early '30's was very specific to Ukraine. there is little controversy over that. it isn't just nationalist Ukrainian propaganda.

  • @piperprop3

a meant a famine throughout the whole country, by no means only the ukrainian "nation" alone. There are old nostalgic ukrainian nazis and ignorants who present it that way though.

  • @piperprop3

It's recognised as famine by the EU, but not as a ukrainian "Holodomor" nation creation myth.

  • @BringBackMy9Os on what basis? i am no historian but Holodomor is a well know historical fact caused by collectivization policies of the Stalinist era. where am I mistaken? what u say about ukranians, balts is also true as far as i understand but this is separate from the truth of Soviet Stalinist crimes. one truth doesn't negate the other.

  • @piperprop3

Last year european council approved that Holodomor is just a biased ukrainian "nation building" myth, neglecting the lossess of others.

Ukrianians, Balts, Georgians and Muslims are treacherous nazi scum and idiots, whose '90s creationist myths are easy to expose.
