I've always loved Beagles. Especially since I read the book Shiloh as a kid. The fact that my best friend at the time had one too. Their only problem in my mind is that they aren't as smart or easily trained as my other favorite breeds. But then again, there is not much that is smarter than German Shepherds, Poodles and Golden Retrievers so there's no shame in that.

that is very sad...i had a beagle that got hit by a car! My beagle suffered a broken leg and had his tail amputated, thank god he lived though...
