Carol Brey-Casiano is information resource officer for the U.S. Department of State and former director of libraries for the City of El Paso, Texas.

Brey-Casiano's career as a public library administrator spans more than three decades and she is a prominent and active leader in the library profession with a long record of supporting advocacy and library outreach services, including serving as the 2004-2005 president of the American Library Association.
