I was his busdriver on the European Blue Streak tour. 2 years before he passed away. I see this band for about 34 times and it was for me the best tour I ever drove in my life. There was not a lot of Humanity only in Lu.... but with the whole band... Lu and this band has always a very special place in my heart. Rest In Peace Luther.... Robert

I spent time with Luther in the 60's when he did the college circuit and clubs like the chessmate in detroit, at about 3am he really started kicken.

My car caught fire today. I had a luther disk of cherry red wine on and when we got to the solo part smoke started pouring from the speakers and the dash burst into flames. I was with his son, Barnard, at Dusk til Dawn last year. Another great talent. I think Barnard's group is the best blues band going at this time. Does his own thing but you can always hear his daddy in there. Love them both.
