No Matter What ~ Without You -Badfinger Live

From the Vaults presents... Badfinger live at Taste of Minnesota, July 3rd, 2000. An excellent warm show by these aging but vital rockers--on their HOME TURF?!
"Without You" and "No Matter What" were two songs I caught after arriving late and setting up on the capitol steps.

I used Sanken COS-11 mics and recorded the band on a Sony D100 DAT tape recorder. Turned out fairly good for being positioned on the stage right side, right in front of the smallish stacks they had out that day.

The song is a great one. We certainly don't need joey's intro that mariah covered this tune...especially when he makes he is a part of it.  I will say this....molland's gotta lotta nerve...he never had any part in writing the tune. He never mentions that Ham and Evans wrote this tune...he only says it is a 'Badfinger" tune.

Doncha worry joey....the Truth WILL prevail.
