I've been looking for this version of the song for AGES! Do you know the composer? I sang this years and years ago back in high school and the tune (and words) have stayed in my mind all these years. Thank you so much. Quite lovely.

@wondermachinedc I used the Roger Quilter version. I am glad you finally tracked it down. I agree this is a lovely song. I sang this 5 years ago for a masterclass and I still find myself humming the tune every now and again.

What's that weird background noise? It's like the cameraman is using one of those old dot matrix printers. I want a do over, without all the crappy noise interferring with the awesome singing. :(
