@MusicManTX I love how you neglect to mention the African American slave songs that were also a major influence of this piece...i.e. second movement english horn solo.
-
@niebieskiesubaru Oh come on, He was Czech! Not Chech ! I'm from the Czech Republic and I just can't stand these comments..
-
@wumgoeswambambam I am not Korean. But my fiancee is, and I wasn't talking about the people, just the government. :)
-
@RDR007Commentaries JK. I know you didn't mean that and you're probably korean.
-
@RDR007Commentaries Racist bitch. The Koreans aren't "cold and unfeeling," so don't call them that. They just happen to be ruled by a dictator that censors and brainwashes his people. I bet if America were ruled by Kim Jong Il, you would be just like the Koreans you hate so much. Yeah. You might even throw out your Klan costume.

An absolutely stunning interpretation, the best I ever heard...

@lolturtle13 Probably since North Korea is one of the most cold, unfeeling, uninviting countries on earth, not surprised he's shocked...Hell *I* was shocked when I heard this was in the DPRK.

@shib340 Indeed. The NY Philharmonic played a concert in North Korea. Why disbelief? o.O?

regardless where it was from or to, this was created by one of the finest composers of our times. I appreciate the clarity and quality of this recording.
No its wasnt... It was composed by Antonin Dvorak when he came to America... He was inspired by the Native American melodies. look it up smart one!
