open up your shoulders girl. your back is getting some major damage.

"Jardins sous de plouie" does NOT need to be played powerfully....it is Debussy, after all.
This song requires a certain fluidity and grace and a lovingly light touch on the keys. When listening to, you should be able to FEEL the drops of rain coming down in the garden...a stacatto pitter-patter all around you.
I don't quite get that from this particular rendition. I don't feel the rain.

im playing this piece right now. its outstanding that someone your age can play this piece. the problem is that its very sloppy. what i mean by that is that theres too much pedal and i know alot of feeling goes into this piece. debussy is very complex and i think you should start with something else and hold off the debussy untill your a bit older.
what an awkward, disturbing position she plays in. I hope she doesn't do any permanent spine damage.
There was a girl I knew who played piano like that, and when she would walk she would hunch her back, as if she was stuck.

For age of 11 .. simply - amazing!
But I have to say I'm surprised about the comments of all these "experts" who are just watching, not really listening, even less thinking. Look at this comments - "no applause", "too much pedals", "disturbing position" .. ridiculous. I think there is quite a dosis of envy in this comments, beacuse they just managed "Für Elise" in the age of 11. And this performance is excellent for a child. "Psychologically" and technically.
