This song is so disturbing and haunting, yet so beautiful. The lyrics and rhythm seem to symbolise how the child would feel - guilty and confused. "I know he'd never hurt me" - the child doesn't understand abuse and why it's wrong. The echos make it dreamy and child-like. The last line of each verse sounds like someone older praying someone will help the child as they're too afraid to speak up about it. I dunno it's just what I think...such a unique and real song, which is quite terrifying :'(
