40 years ago in 1968, our nation's young people gathered to ask for change in their government. They flooded Grant Park and Michigan Avenue with the HOPE for CHANGE. They were met with resistance and violence. 40 years later, on the night of November 4th 2008they once again flooded Grant Park and Michigan Avenue with the HOPE for CHANGE. They were met not resistance but rewarded with victory for their dedication and commitment. Barak Obama, our 44th President, was elected with the promise to deliver to a divided America HOPE & CHANGE. This is a clip to show the energy and momentum that is inspirational to all that attended the Grant Park Rally. These scenes took place on Michigan Avenue right after the crowds were exiting.
