@bengalboi77 we added "Under God" to our pledge in the 50's. and the founding fathers were for the most part deists. If they wanted us to be a christian nation then they wouldn't have put so many measures in our Constitution decreeing that we were to be seperate from any one religion.

God is specifically speaking of the Book Of Revelation here, but im quite sure He is talking about his Word as a whole. careful so called "conservatives" u r treading into some very dangerous waters!!

i wish people would quit clumping Gods word with "the liberal" or "conservative" labels. both of them in governmental standards are as crooked as all get out. I don't know if i should apologize for my nature and caricature.needles to say nick picking is just the way i am i like to hone the facts or better understanding. The English versions of the bible did not begin with Mr.King James but was a result of expression of freedom I can site futher but thats boring. My point is things such as this are a..let us say potpourri...of every thing before. Therefor the only argument i see is agnosticism. but lest save that 4 another time.

for example... the King James Version says in 2 Tim. 2:15 - Study to show thyself approved unto God... other versions read "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved"... those 2 read totally different from each other
