Art Photos of Cher, along with her song, "I Know (You Don't Love Me No More)" from her lost 1976 album, "I'd Rather Believe In You." By lost album, I mean that this album has never been remastered digitally and released on cd. Warner Brothers Records has let it sit on the shelves gathering dust since after it was first released. Yet they continue to flood the market with Cher Greatest Hits compilation after repetitive compilation. How much could it cost to remaster this great album and release it online thru iTunes? They have held four of her 70's albums "hostage" for years and years. What is the issue? Her first solo album post Sonny Bono divorce, "Stars", I'd Rather Believe In You", "Allman & Woman: Two The Hard Way", and "Cherished" are all just gathering dust and not making any money for Warners or Cher. I just can't understand why this is going on.

  • I love it when they cover each others songs....cause they have very few fans in common...CHERocked when she sang "I'm No Angel"

Yes their son Elijah is like a hybrid of both of their talents...Almost too talented for the music industry to get him...

  • @cherton Listen to Barbara George sing it. BB King, Ike and Tina also

  • @DAVCOUGAR I don't think so dude. It wasn't written by a bloke. It was written by Barbara George in 1961 and she took it to #2 worldwide.

  • *Wish This Would Come Out on CD!* <3*Great Album!*<3 *It Was So Under-Rated.* ; )

  • It might be hard to tell from the terrible audio here, but Cher is the only other singer I know who sings the original Barbara George lyrics, rather than trying to "improve" them or "whiten" them - "hurted" and "joy", etc.

Even my beloved Bonnie Raitt "cleaned them up" grammatically, and made the song sound like a joke .... and she managed to confuse who said what to whom in the process.

This is a good solid 4 stars.

  • its alright but i think the original is way better

  • Thanks...I just googled the name of the song and she came up as the original singer-I love her version much better!

  • Barbera George originally

  • madaline bell
