Wir erfahren alles über die Idee, Motivation und Vision dieses Buchs. Ganz nebenbei ist KLETTERN AM RANDE... aber auch ein "Lehrfilm" über das Klettern am individuellen Limit. Zum ersten Mal werden Routen und Boulder nicht nur über ihren Schwierigkeitsgrad definiert, sondern an zahlreichen Beispielen analysiert, was diesen Zug oder diese Durchsteigung denn nun so schwierig macht. Das Spektrum reicht dabei von "one-move-wonder-" bouldern bis zu 40m Hausmauern "...und wenn Klem die Winzgriffe eines 40 Meter langen neuen Projekts im Detail vorführt, ist es, wie wenn der Folterknecht die Instrumente zeigt." - KLETTERN
