some guy told me that the electrons and neutrons make a cloud and that the orbiting theory was wrong. is he wrong?

Well, the guy is both right and wrong. The electrons do in fact make a cloud around the nucleus, but the neutrons are part of the nucleus, and therefore do not orbit. As far as the orbiting theory, well, the electrons do move around the nucleus, but don't nescecarilly orbit, but rather move in a circular path around the nucleus, and you cannot determine the actual position of an electron, much like fan blades.

So what are the actual Atoms that they say get damaged as in the Electrons from irradiating food? I seen something that sounded pretty terrifying as it said irradiating food causes your atom to have one less electron and this is then called a free-radical and when ate the free-rad searches out your body for that missing electron but too many free-rads = Death? Is this right or bullsheet?
