Really??? Wasn't it AAF that played nothing but Warrant, Poison, and Cinderella by the late 80s/early 90s???
So who was it that was playing "pussy" music??
Also I recall first hearing Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" on the BCN's "Heavy Metal from Hell" show some 6 months before it ever broke on MTV or AAF!!!!

No it's not. This was a commercial that actually aired for WBCN. A Scanimate demo reel from Image West (the company that animated it) wouldn't have included something that was misleading or fake.

WBCN isn't dying, they're just moving their operation entirely online. 104.1 will become Mix, 98.5 will become WBZ-FM "The Sports Hub", and WBZ-AM 1030 is going all news, minus sports.
